INDICATOR/WIPER SELECTOR

The indicator/wiper gear selector in Mercedes-Benz vehicles is a multi-function stalk located on the left side of the steering column. It controls various functions, including:

• Turn signals: Flicking the stalk up or down activates the corresponding turn signal.
• Wipers: Rotating the end of the stalk controls the wipers, with different settings for intermittent, continuous, and automatic wiping.
• High beams: Pushing the stalk forward activates the high beams, while pulling it back flashes them.
• Cruise control: Some models also integrate cruise control functions into the stalk.
